TariffIQ Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 13, 2026

Counsel review required before public launch. Privacy contact: sandra@trytariffiq.com (CFO) — update to a dedicated legal address once a formal legal team is in place.

This policy explains how TariffIQ LLC, doing business as TariffIQ, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through its websites, applications, tariff-intelligence tools, marketplace, supplier portal, integrations, and support services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect account identity and company profile information; buyer and supplier contact information; uploaded SKU, product, country-of-origin, cost, unit, HTS, tariff, report, and sourcing data; Stripe customer and transaction identifiers; encrypted integration tokens and synchronized records; marketplace matches, claims, credits, catalogs, screening decisions, referrals, and feedback; and technical information such as IP address, device/browser details, request identifiers, logs, and security events. TariffIQ does not store full payment-card numbers.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate and secure TariffIQ; authenticate users; calculate exposure; generate HTS suggestions, reports, analytics, and sourcing scenarios; operate marketplace matching; process subscriptions and credits; support integrations; communicate about accounts; investigate abuse; improve the service; comply with law; and protect users and third parties. Product descriptions may be processed by artificial-intelligence providers to create classification suggestions.

3. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to providers supporting authentication, payments, hosting, databases, AI processing, communications, monitoring, and integrations; to marketplace users when a profile, match, or lead claim authorizes disclosure; to organization administrators for managed workspaces; during a business transfer; when required by law or necessary for security; or at your direction. We do not sell personal information for money.

4. Public Profiles And Marketplace Choices

Profiles are private by default unless public directory visibility is enabled. Buyer participation in supplier matching is separately optional. Buyer contact information is disclosed only through the authorized lead-claim workflow described in the product.

5. Retention

We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and compliance records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect security. Before launch, TariffIQ will document specific production retention periods for accounts, SKU data, logs, marketplace activity, billing records, backups, and deleted accounts.

6. Security

TariffIQ uses safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, encrypted transport, restricted secrets, encrypted integration tokens, database controls, logging, and monitoring. No system is completely secure.

7. Your Choices And Rights

You may update profile visibility, supplier-matching participation, account information, and certain uploaded data in the product. You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy by contacting jason@trytariffiq.com. Rights vary by jurisdiction, and identity verification may be required.

8. Cookies And Authentication

TariffIQ and its providers may use cookies, secure storage, and similar technologies required for authentication, security, preferences, and service operation. Any future production analytics or advertising technology must be disclosed and configured with required consent choices.

9. Children And International Processing

TariffIQ is a business service not directed to children under 18. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where TariffIQ or its providers operate.

10. Changes And Contact

We may update this policy and will post a revised effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the service or by email where required.
